I have experience, passion, and commitment.

After serving some time on school councils and the Board for Christian Education Grande Prairie, I decided to run for Trustee for the Grande Prairie Public School Board and was successful in the election. I served four years before moving to our land in the county. I fell in love with the work during that time. I am hoping to serve my community in a new capacity as a councillor. Changes are coming to our area, and I believe it is important to have the right person for the job to ensure you are heard well and your points are accurately brought to the board table. I have the time to commit to meeting with you, taking your calls, and returning your emails. I have experience in policymaking, budget oversight, development committees, and government relations. I understand the role of a councillor and my responsibilities to you as my constituent.

I have served on the Grande Prairie Land Development board as Executive Officer (U.D.I.), and I also served as Executive Officer for the Home Builders Board (BILD Grande Prairie). I enjoy volunteering, a few of them being at church and at my children's schools.

On a personal note, I have lived in the Grande Prairie area since 1996. In that time, I have mostly resided in the county. My husband, Waylon Driedger, was born here and has been a successful business owner for 19 years. I have four incredible children aged 11 to 18 years old who all play competitive sports. We enjoy quadding, camping, and going down to the river as a family. We love to host people! Having people over and cooking for them is a joy of mine.
